Our friendly team at Bathurst aim to provide clinical excellence, expert patient care and high quality optical products. One of the practice’s focus is in behavioural optometry with Sonia Bostjancic, our principal optometrist, completing advanced training in this area. Sonia also offers low vision services to the vision impaired as well as general optometric care to a broad spectrum of the community, with both practice and home based domiciliary visits if required. Our dispensers, Brett and Anita can guide you through the journey of choosing the correct, most up to date and clinically appropriate eyewear for your occupational, fashion and leisure needs.
Sonia enjoys the challenges of dry eye patients and interesting multifactorial systemic or ocular diseases She has particular interests in: aged care as well as children’s vision, with behavioural optometry and low vision experience. Sonia continually provides up to date optometric services to the community of Bathurst. Her personal interests include Karate and Jujitsu, dog shows and badminton.
Dana has joined our Lithgow and Bathurst practices following spending six months in the area completing her masters in optometry. The people and the community inspired her to start her career here. Dana is looking forward to providing high quality care with a special interest in the many diseases of the eye and their early detection and prevention.
At EyeQ Optometrists Bathurst we have the right experience to look after the whole family’s needs. Our optometrist Sonia has a special interest in aged care as well as children’s vision, with behavioural optometry and low vision experience. Our eye testing technology includes Ultra Wide Retinal Photography with fundus Auto Fluorescence, Ocular Coherence Tomography (OCT) for in depth three dimensional evaluation of the retina and Visual Field examination. We understand not all our patients can visit us in practice and are happy to do domiciliary visits to the housebound or those in a nursing home.
