Who we are

There are three optometrists who provide eye assessments at the practice. Sonia Pellizzer has been practising since 1993 and has had specialist training in eye disease and therapeutic medication prescription in New York and Boston. Steffanie Liang enjoys practising general optometry and is also involved in public health care including providing overseas aid services. She is therapeutically endorsed and so prescribes medications to treat eye conditions. Ky Lian graduated in 1995 and since then has completed further education in advanced clinical optometry. She was manager of the Contact Lens Clinic at the Melbourne teaching and public health institution. She is able to prescribe contact lenses in difficult situations such as after corneal graft surgery. Ky also is therapeutically endorsed.

What we offer

We perform regular eye assessments as well as specialised tests for pre-school and school age children, contact lens fittings, laser refractive surgery pre-assessments and specialist disease assessments. We have the latest equipment and technology at the practice for macular degeneration and glaucoma assessments including an ocular coherence tomography machine (OCT) which takes retinal and nerve fibre thickness measurements as well as digital retinal images.
