To ensure the safety of our patients, teams and community we have strict hygiene standards and protocols in place. These include:

  • Providing hand sanitiser
  • Temperature checks
  • Social distancing and limiting the number of people in practice
  • Disinfecting throughout the practice
  • Strict protocols for staff who become unwell
  • Wearing personal protective equipment

What is considered urgent eye care?

If you experience an eye health or vision problem that impacts your ability to function day to day or you have trouble with your glasses or contact lenses then urgent eye care may be needed. Examples include:

  • Sudden changes to vision including loss of vision
  • Red eye, pain or discomfort
  • Floaters
  • Concern you may have an eye infection or something in your eye
  • Broken or lost glasses making it difficult to function without them
  • Concern over existing eye health issues

If you have any urgent eye care needs please call your nearest EyeQ practice or conveniently book an appointment online.

ALCON CONTACT LENSES

Our contact lens provider Alcon is experiencing delays fulfilling orders due to a cyber-security incident involving their freight partner, Toll Group. These delays are across their entire network of optical retailers in Australia. We apologise for an inconvenience caused and encourage you to contact your local EyeQ practice for any urgent requirements.
